Companion vs. Personal Assistant: What is the difference in getting Žalgiris tickets?

Guests with disabilities are welcome to attend events at Zalgiris Arena and the stadium with a helper. This article clarifies the key difference between a regular companion and an official personal assistant for ticket purchase.

Before you start

  • Both helpers must arrive at the venue at the same time as the disabled guest.
  • An official Personal Assistant attends the event for free, while a Companion must purchase their own ticket.

Here is what you need to do

  • If you are a Companion:
    • You do not need any special certificates. When purchasing digital tickets online, simply select a seat adjacent to the disabled guest and pay for the order as usual (special disabled sector discounts may apply).
  • If you are a Personal Assistant:
    • First, the disabled guest (or the assistant) must purchase the standard disabled seat ticket.
    • Email bilietai@zalgiris.lt with details of the purchase. The ticketing team will manually issue a complimentary (zero-value) digital ticket for the assistant.
    • Upon arrival, the assistant must present a valid Personal Assistant identification certificate to the venue security.

Additional tips

Because accessible seating is limited, we highly advise arranging tickets and assistant registration well in advance. You can learn more in our article that explains in greater detail how to visit if you have a disability or limited mobility.
