What is the Žalgiris fan conduct & code of ethics?

Žalgirio Arena is home to all of us, where respect, unity, and the best basketball emotions live. We want every green-and-white fan to feel safe, so we have outlined the core behavior guidelines for our community.

IMPORTANT: Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Before You Begin

By attending a game, you become part of the Žalgiris family and agree to follow the arena's internal rules and general ethical principles. We do not tolerate any behavior that harms the club's reputation or the safety of other spectators. The club reserves the right to apply sanctions, including temporary or permanent bans from future events.

Rules you need to follow

  • Respect others. Avoid offensive chants, profanity, or aggressive gestures toward opponents, referees, or fellow fans.
  • Follow security requirements. Bringing pyrotechnics, weapons, sharp objects, or alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. You can find the full list in our article on arena-allowed and prohibited items.
  • Zero tolerance for discrimination. If you witness any signs of racism, xenophobia, or other forms of discrimination, immediately inform the nearest security staff member.
  • Report misconduct. If you see inappropriate behavior by other fans or staff, please contact arena security or email us at pagalba@zalgiris.lt.
  • Protect arena property. We take pride in our home, so we expect you to respect the facilities and keep them clean.

Additional Tips

  • Emotions are a natural part of basketball, but they should never turn into physical or verbal aggression.
  • If you arrive late to a game, follow the instructions in our guide on late arrivals to avoid disturbing others.
  • Keep in mind that serious violations may result in a ticket or season membership cancellation, with no right to a refund.
