What food and drinks are available at Žalgiris Arena?

Heading to a game often comes with the same questions: can you bring your own water, how much does the food cost, and will they take cash? We've gathered everything here so there are no surprises before you walk through the turnstiles.

Before you begin

  • Žalgiris Arena has more than 30 quick-service bars spread across different floors (0, 1, and 3), plus the "Sala" restaurant and the fan hub "Baras 11". With that many options, lines rarely get too long even on big match days.
  • What's on offer depends on the floor: level 0 and the MAN VIP boxes floor also serve hot meals, while the 1st- and 3rd-floor bars mainly offer drinks and cold or hot snacks.
  • Every food and drink spot in the arena accepts card payments only; cash isn't accepted anywhere, so bring a bank card or a phone with contactless payment set up.
  • To skip the line, you can order food and drinks from your phone by scanning the QR code closest to your seat, then pick it up at the bar once it's ready.
  • One thing worth knowing before you buy a drink: since May 1, 2025, Lithuanian law requires a 0.10 EUR packaging fee on every single-use plastic cup or container, whether it's for food or drinks. You can avoid this fee by choosing a reusable cup instead (5 EUR), which you can bring back and reuse at future games too.

Here's what you can do

Buying food in the arena

  1. Once you're at the arena, head to the bar closest to your seat's floor, or use the QR code to order ahead and skip the queue.
  2. If you'd rather sit down and eat before the game, "Sala" restaurant opens when the arena doors open, but you'll need a match ticket and a table reservation made in advance by calling +370 614 32542 or emailing info@salarestoranas.lt.
  3. If you want to save money by reusing your cup at another event, make sure it's clean (no leftover drink residue) and in good condition, without cracks; otherwise, it won't be accepted.

NOTE: If you're driving and plan to park near the arena, check parking conditions in advance so you know how much time you'll have to grab a bite before kickoff.

Bringing your own food

You cannot bring your own food, drinks (including water), bottles, cans, or anything made of glass or other fragile material into the arena, not even a bottle of water. This rule applies to every visitor, regardless of ticket type.

The only exception the arena mentions is special medical items (like insulin), which are allowed in for health reasons.

Additional tips

  • Drinking alcohol in the seating area itself is not allowed during sports events, so if you want a beer or a glass of wine, you'll need to enjoy it in the bar area rather than at your seat.
  • If you're renting a VIP box, catering isn't included in the box price, but you can pre-order food and drinks for your box by calling +370 620 26943 or emailing n.taujinskaite@salarestoranas.lt.
  • If you have an "Audi" club ticket and want to reserve a table in that space, call +370 620 71846 or email 142@amberfood.eu.
